Acts as a resource to school-based administrators, counselors, teachers, and ESOL regarding ESOL students, interpretation of ESOL policies and laws, and record-keeping requirements.Provides families with information related to the needs of their child and acts as a resource to parents/guardians by providing family support activities and communicating available services.Monitors student/family progress and status and makes referrals to other professional staff members or community agencies as needed.Ensures individualized service plans are developed for ESOL students.Collaborates with school staff to develop interventions for students identified as ESOL.Responsible for data collection of ELs: coding ELs and their services within Infinite Campus.Screens possible English Learners for ESOL services.Uses enrollment data to identify eligible ELs, monitored ELs, former ELs, and possible ELs. Ensures departmental practices align to ESOL laws, rules, and regulations and ensures the delivery of mandated services.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
